PRESIDENT ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF LT. GOVERNOR OF PUDUCHERRY

The President of India has accepted the resignation of Shri Mukut Mithi as Lt. Governor of Puducherry and has appointed Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Bhopinder Singh, Lt. Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to discharge the functions of the Lt. Governor of Puducherry in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Lt. Governor of Puducherry are made.
