A Gurubani Recital was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, on the eve of Guru Nanak Jayanti. The recital was attended by the President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, the Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh and a number of other dignitaries.
The Gurubani Recital was presented by Bhai Chamanjit Singh and party. Shri Balbir Singh, President of the Indian National Forum presented a Shawl and Saropa to the President, while the introductory speech was made by Smt. Baljinder Kaur, member of the Indian National Forum.
